This has got to be a one of the most unique wedding shoots. The most charismatic priest who delivered the marriage message with interaction and creativity, a fun bridal party shoot that was mainly set at Luna Park and having to experience the main rides while skipping the queue (yes we did feel bad for the kids lining up). Thanks to the friendly staff who helped made everything so professional and smooth. Christina and Gordon are both picky I am told. They made an effort to attend the Catholic Singles Conference weekend hoping to find ‘the one’. Lunch on Saturday brought them together and they just couldn’t stop talking with each other. At the dinner party that evening, Gordon asked Christina for a dance… and they danced all night. Fast-forward a year later, Gordon took Christina to the Macquarie Lighthouse, where they shared their first kiss. It was a hot summer’s day, where they were photo shooting with Gordon’s new camera. Little did Christina know that the engagement ring was hidden in the lens cap that Gordon had prepared the evening before.
In front of a bus full of Korean tourists, Gordon asked Christina to hold the lens cap to get down on his knees to propose. Instead of simply holding the lens cap, Christina popped it open prematurely. Seeing the shiny content inside, Christina in shock promptly closed the lid and threw it back at Gordon. Getting down on one knee, Gordon finally proposed, much to the excitement of the tourists. They happily made their way home… albeit sunburnt.
