They first truly connected at a Christian mission where they attended church together to assist with a Christmas event. They were paired up to work on a kids’ lesson, and as their friends would later say, the planning session quickly turned into a time of “whispering, giggling, and preparing for church the next day.” Their friends probably sensed what was happening before anyone else did! Bella’s interest sparked from that moment on.
Marc was heading to a rural placement shortly after. During that time, he decided to message Bella about Terrace House, a lifestyle TV show that’s best enjoyed with others for commentary. They began chatting on and off, until Marc realized he had feelings for Bella. Despite thinking his chances were slim, he decided to take a chance and ask her out. To his delight, Bella responded with, “Let’s give it a go!”
