Lisa and Dave
Let’s rewind to August 2008 for a moment when Lisa and David first crossed paths. Lisa was a supervisor at Topshop and was looking for part-time sales assistants. David was at uni & applied for the job as his house mate recently got a job there too. David was called up for an interview and Lisa interviewed him for the job – surprise surprise he got the job. Lisa’s first impressions of David were that she liked him instantly – he had a dry sense of humour, wasn’t a try hard, and could put an outfit together. They spent the first shift working together dressing mannequins on the shop floor and talking about what music they both liked. They discovered they had a lot in common. David couldn’t stop thinking about Lisa after the four-hour shift. They became friends as they worked together for just one short month, and got to know each other better during after work drinks. What evolved from here was a slew of fun memories and years travelling, exploring and falling more in love over the course of their relationship. Some of the everyday moments that have made their relationship what it is today include the days spent living together in London; shopping around spitalfields market, going to gigs and music festivals, having Poppies fish and chips, enjoying walks down the canal to London fields, beigels on brick lane and the odd cheeky Nandos.
